Efektivitas Model Pembelajaran Berbasis Proyek (Project-Based Learning) Terhadap Kemampuan Siswa dalam Menulis Surat Pribadi

Innovation in education is essential to improve the quality of learning that is relevant to the needs of the times. This study aims to test the effectiveness of the Project-Based Learning (PjBL) model in improving the writing skills of seventh-grade students. The method used was descriptive quantitative, with data obtained through questionnaires completed by 32 students. The results showed that PjBL was effective in improving student creativity, where 65.6% of students felt very creative. In addition, 90.6% of students said they easily remembered the characteristics of personal letters, indicating a good understanding of the material. However, student confidence still needs to be improved. Most students liked the project method and hoped for more similar projects. PjBL provides a fun learning experience, motivates students, and improves writing skills and positive attitudes towards learning. The implication of this study is to encourage teachers to develop and apply project-based learning methods more widely, with adequate variations and guidance, so that learning outcomes and student confidence can be more optimal.
