Abstract

The development of digital technology has changed the assessment methods in elementary schools. Digital-based assessments are not only used to determine student learning outcomes but also to make the assessment process better, faster, and more engaging. This article describes how digital-based assessments are implemented at Binekas Elementary School in Bandung, based on observations during fieldwork activities. This study used a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection methods through observation, interviews, and documentation. The subjects observed included teachers, the principal, and the learning environment at Binekas Elementary School, while the object of study focused on the implementation of digital-based assessments. The results show that Binekas Elementary School has used digital media, particularly Smart TVs and several supporting applications, in the learning and assessment process. The use of digital media motivates students to learn more enthusiastically, assists teachers in delivering materials and conducting assessments, and supports more inclusive education. However, several challenges exist, such as teachers' limited ability to create interactive digital assessments and the need for ongoing training. Overall, the implementation of digital-based assessments at Binekas Elementary School shows positive developments in supporting modern and inclusive learning.
