Abstract

The importance of education cannot be underestimated in human life. Humans are living creatures who have intellectual and emotional capacities and are able to think rationally. However, it is widely believed that in terms of stages and implementation, several educational institutions have still not reached the anticipated standards. The Qur'an is present as a guide in living life for mankind, influencing every aspect of life. In an effort to integrate the achievement of an activity or educational goal, namely through evaluation. This research tries to explain how the Al-Qur'an contains the concept of school evaluation, because the Al-Qur'an is an inspiration for educators. Apart from that, this research also explains how the principles and types of educational evaluation are in accordance with the Al-Qur'an. This research uses library research, namely data collection, to understand and study theories from various literature that are relevant to educational evaluation from the perspective of the Al-Qur'an, based on the ideas of educational evaluation found in the Al-Qur'an, educators will it is easier to carry out evaluations of students. In the context of scientific research, educational evaluation is the basis for providing assessments so that educational character is formed by utilizing the teachings of the Koran.
