Organizational change is an inevitable aspect of the organizational world, both in business organizations (companies) and educational institutions that continue to evolve. Effective communication plays a crucial role in managing this change. This article explores how communication can support the change process, reduce resistance, and enhance employee participation. Change is something that frequently occurs and even must occur, because it is essential for organizations to adapt and grow in order to survive. This research uses a qualitative approach, with data collection techniques including observation and interviews. The study analyzes case studies from three educational organizations: Islamic boarding schools (Pesantren), state schools, and private schools. The findings show that the role of communication, which includes transparency, involvement, and effective feedback, significantly influences the success of organizational change. Moreover, organizational communication also impacts the improvement of work motivation among members of the organization. Even though an organization may agree to implement change, effective communication and well-planned strategies are necessary to successfully execute this change.
