Abstract

Community-acquired pneumonia (CAP) adalah salah satu infeksi akut paling umum yang membutuhkan rawat inap di rumah sakit. Infeksi akut seperti CAP dapat memengaruhi sistem kardiovaskular melalui berbagai mekanisme dan secara langsung menyebabkan atau memperburuk komplikasi kardiovaskular, seperti gagal jantung, sindrom koroner akut, aritmia jantung, dan stroke.  Pasien dengan gagal jantung diperkirakan memiliki risiko pneumonia 2 kali lipat lebih tinggi dibandingkan mereka yang tidak. Sebaliknya, pneumonia meningkatkan risiko perburukan gagal jantung dan sering dianggap sebagai faktor dekompensasi yang menyebabkan rawat inap.

Tujuan: Mengetahui prevalensi dan mekanisme pasien gagal jantung yang disertai dengan pneumonia dan tanpa pneumonia.

Metode: Jenis penelitian ini menggunakan metode literature review melalui google schoolar dan PUBMED dengan menggunakan kata kunci “Gagal Jantung“ + “Pneumonia”. Artikel jurnal yang dianalisis adalah yang dipublikasikan sejak tahun 2017 sampai dengan 2022 yang diakses full text dalam format pdf.
