Abstract

This research aims to assess the feasibility, practicality and effectiveness of the implementation of sequential visual media to enhance narrative essay writing skills in Class III, Theme 1, Sub-theme 1 at SD Negeri 101807 Candi Rejo. This is a form of research referred to as Development Research or R&D (Research and Development). It utilizes the ADDIE model, which encompasses five stages: analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The subjects in this research were media experts, material experts, education practitioners and class III students at SD Negeri 101807 Candi Rejo with a total of 21 students. The object of this research is serial image learning media. Data collection techniques use questionnaires and tests. The results of the media validation test for media experts obtained a percentage of 88% in the "Very Appropriate" category, and material validation by material experts obtained a percentage of 88% in the "Very Appropriate" category. The practicality test by educational practitioners obtained a percentage of 90% in the "Very Practical" category. The results of the media effectiveness test through pre-test and post-test, the pre-test results obtained a percentage of 33.7% in the "Less Effective" category, while the post-test results obtained a percentage of 81.2% in the "Very Effective" category.
